About the Role
As Cashier at Conscious Plates, your are primarily responsible for the Front of House including taking orders, assisting the kitchen staff, cleanliness & organization of the Front of House and daily sales reports.
You’re an ideal candidate if you:
Have a passion for Alkaline Foods and/or Plant-based Foods
Have a passion for living a holistically healthy life
Able to sustain a positive and high-energy during shifts
Are a great mediator
Are problem-solving oriented
Have worked in a restaurant or similar environment previously
Have a food handlers certificate
Have excellent communication skills
Have an aptitude for multitasking
Have the ability to work in a team environment
Are willing to work a flexible schedule

Inspired by Dr. Sebi, it is our understanding that a primary cause of illnesses and diseases that cause pain to people on our planet is unhealthy food. Our mission at Conscious Plates is to help to heal humanity of illnesses and diseases through natural foods and herbs, hence alkaline.
Conscious Plates started out as a catering and popup endeavor in 2018 ran and operated by 1 person, the Founder. Within 1 year we were able to open 1 restaurant and grow to a team of over 10 people, with no outside investment, all because people really want what we offer: alkaline food. Conscious Plates is now well on the path of becoming a global organization by way of Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Housing, and other Holistic Health Services.
